beate it in a cleane /marble\ morter then put it in a glase botle
and put halfe a pint of damaske rosewater and
halfe a pint or a litle more of clear water then take
3 3 pipings pared and coured and quartered then sticke
10sticke in þe aples a quarter of an ounce of cloues and
so put them into þe water with 3. graines of muske
then take halfe an ounce of þe best best storax and
halfe an ounce of bingiamen and put them /all\ in þe
Glase and put þe glase in a pott of water and boyle it
15þe space of 2. houers then strayne it altogether
through a cleane cloath while it is uery hott then let
it coule by it selfe then take of þe cake and cut of þe
filth from þe bottom then take halfe an ounce of
oyle of tarter and halfe an ounce of oyle of ben

beat it an houre together then make it up in
