68v a medisen þat þe Lord maier had from þe
queen which is a most presious medisen
for þe plague and much aproued
take a handfull of sage elder leaues red bramble
5leaues stampe and strayne them together through a
Cloath with a quart of white wine then take a
quantity of white wine uineger and mingle
altogether and drinke therof in a morning a
sponfull 9. dayes together and you shalbe whole
10amongst all þe excellent medisens for þe plague
ther is none more worthy and aualable then
this. and when þe sore doth apeare then take
a cocke chickin or a pullett and set þe rumpe
to þe sore and let it gape and labour for life
15and dye and so take another and and so a thirde
keeping þe rumpe at þe sore tell all þe poyson be
drawn out and þe last chicken will liue
when þe uenum is out and þe sore aswage
and þe party will recouer
