Recipe Greek Pitch, Brimstone, Frankincense, ana. Pouder them,

30and temper them with the white of an Egg; spread it on a linen

cloath, and applie it to the wound, the bloud beeing first wiped

away; and let it continue some days. A wounderfull and an ap-

proved thing ./

35A Balsam of great virtue either in a simple

wound or where a nerve is prickt, and against

the biteing of a Mad Dog.

Recipe Turpentine libra .j. Euphorbium Brimstonte ana ounce semis. Salt ounce j.

40Oyl libra j. Let them seeth two hours over agentle fire; then

strain them /

A Green salve to cure any Sore old or new.

45Recipe Rosin libra j. Bees wax libra semis. Beer or Mutton suet libra semis. boil them

till they bee all well melted then take it off the fire, and stirr

therein one ounce of Verdegrease finely pounded, then put

in a farthing worth of Turpentine mix them well together

then pour it into a pail of cold water and temper it well with

50your hands, and make it into little rolles./
